Chump Change ("the app") is developed and published by Everette Egun. This policy explains what information the app handles — and the short answer is: almost none.
None. Chump Change does not collect, transmit, or share any personal data. There are no accounts, no analytics, no tracking, and no advertising SDKs.
Everything you enter into the app — expenses, friends, savings goals, receipts you scan, XP, and settings — is stored locally on your device only. It never leaves your phone. Deleting the app deletes this data permanently.
The Smart Scan feature asks for camera or photo access so you can scan a receipt. Receipt images are processed entirely on your device using on-device optical character recognition. Photos are never uploaded to any server.
When you choose to share a Buy-for-Me request via X (Twitter) or Facebook, your device opens that platform's share sheet. Any information you post is governed by that platform's own privacy policy. Chump Change itself sends nothing to those platforms.
The app collects no personal information from anyone, including children under 13.
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted at this URL with a new "last updated" date.
